Sorry for the month long hiatus, but (as you can tell from the title) I had a baby!!!
Emma Grace Johnson was born March 2, 2017 at 4:31am. She weighed 7 pounds and 14 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Having Emma was a long hard process, but it’s true what they say. You forget about all of that when you see your baby for the first time. This was after they had cleaned her up.
Seth was just as exhausted as I was. Neither of us had slept in two days! Look how smitten he is! She is going to have him wrapped around her finger!
My mom stayed with me for pretty much the entire process! I don’t know what I would have done without her!
My brother and sister-in-law with Emma. My brother swore he wouldn’t her while she was still so little, but we suckered him into it.
Can you tell that my dad is a proud Paw? He is probably already planning their first fishing trip!
My niece, Lilee, meeting Emma for the first time. She said, “Emma is adorable!” Lilee’s middle name is also Grace. When Seth and I were trying to come up with middle names, she told us she wanted Emma to have her middle name. We thought this was the sweetest thing, so of course we agreed!
I’m obviously so in love with her!
Finally taking our baby girl home!
Seth and I are so incredibly blessed to be going on this journey of parenthood together! This past month has been a rollercoaster, but I hope to get back in the swing of things!
